Bircher Muesli

A healthy make-ahead breakfast that's filling, and full of fibre and flavour.

Ingredients

  • 1 Apple (grated)
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Milk, Reduced Fat (or dairy free milk of choice)
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt (or dairy free yoghurt of choice)
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Mixed Nuts (chopped)
  • 1 cup Frozen Blueberries (or fruit of choice)

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together apart from the blueberries. Leave in fridge for several hours, or overnight.
  2. Serve with blueberries or fruit of choice.

Notes

Too thick: Add more milk, or water.

Chocolate Brownie Version: Add 1 tbsp cocoa powder, use walnuts in place of mixed nuts and add 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
